"Trauma blocks love and love heals trauma." -Frank Anderson

I work with individual adults with relationship issues, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and trauma. Prior to private practice, I focused heavily in community mental health and substance misuse. I help adults heal from their trauma histories, relationship conflicts, befriending intense moods and managing emotional distress.

I support clients with issues related to:

  • a “Doer” mentality such as over-scheduling, increasing productivity, over-functioning, and defaulting to “Busy” as the status quo.

  • feeling alone in their past experiences where they could not cope as effectively as they wished.  A sense of aloneness that still lingers in the present day.

  • having a fear of losing control of self or others.

  • a desire to set healthier emotional or physical boundaries that promotes integrity instead of fear.

  • a core belief that reflecting on one’s feelings and prioritizing mental health is a luxury.

  • yearning for real connections that nourish the self and builds internal reserves for daily life.

  • missing out on the ordinary things. A desire to play and laugh more.

Using my training in emotions and parts work, I will slow things down. Whatever it is that’s arising, we carefully invite those parts of you to an opportunity for healing through relating and connecting. As we focus inward, we invite an exploration and processing of the felt sensations of emotions to transmute to their natural state. Together we build and strengthening neuro networks that give rise to an open hearted state. My healing modalities are informed by:
